The innovative model demonstrations will show how trip chaining and seamless door to door connections can work best by sustainable transport modes.
Experiences will be documented facilitating the transfer of the developed models to planners of other interested entities of the Alpine Space and beyond.
• The demonstrations will integrate the modes bike and bus both logistically and with respect to ticketing
• Small-scale bike and ride facilities with demonstration character will be implemented.
• Bike rentals will be integrated with bus transport.
• Bikes will be allowed to be carried on buses.
• Intermodal barriers as perceived by the customers will be detected and innovative instruments will be developed to close these gaps.
